Ep 19: Kids Explain The Universe with Will (7) Owen (6) Harper (4) and Wes (4)

Will (7), Wes (4), Harper (4) and Owen (6) explain their views on God, death, spirits, souls, past lives, love, loss, signs, power, crystals and magic.   

How did you view spirituality when you were a kid?   Have your views evolved over the years?  

To get a glimpse of it now...inside the wonder and awe and imagination of what is to be that young. To not be yet be conditioned by all the experiences of your teens and your adult life. That sweet spot when magic is a tangible everyday occurrence, before some of us grew out it.   The purity the clarity the simplicity of lightness, without the weight of the world and politics and failures and hustle culture.

Not every child has the privilege and space to live in this wonder.  But when a child feels safe, when they are free of fear, they so easily tap into something deeper.   

Their knowing is power.  As conscious parents we have an opportunity to fan the flame and encourage them to keep all their power.  Feel their self-worth deep in their bones, and allow their truth to knock us all back into alignment.  

And aligned is exactly how I feel when I listen to these little cuties explain the universe.

When you were four, six, maybe seven. How did you view the universe? God. Death. Do you remember? I feel like such an older millennial saying this, but back when I was growing up, we didn't have access to capturing footage in the way we do now. It's hard to remember how I felt about the universe, but to get a glimpse of it now inside the wonder and awe and imagination of what it is to be young, to not yet be conditioned by all the experiences of your teens in your adult life. It's that sweet spot when magic is tangible. It's an everyday occurrence before some of us grow out of it. It's that purity, the clarity, the simplicity of lightness without the weight of the world. I find it's those basic qualities that I strive to come back to the keep it fun. Keep it light. Be flexible. Every little thing is going to be all right. Of course, not every child has the privilege and the space to live in this wonder. But when a child is safe, when they are free of fear, they so easily tap into something far greater than ourselves. Thanks for listening to the Woo report. My name is Owen. This is the first episode I'm interviewing. I'm six and a half. And. I'm French with well. Yeah, I am real way here. Yes. Two new guests here. Yeah, my little brother West and Owen's. Little sister, Harper. Hi. My name's Harper. First of all, thank you for being on the report. Thank you. I want to let you know that there's no wrong answers here. What is the universe. E there of. The earth? Is there anything else? Saturn. Very good. Anything else? Mouse. Excellent. Pluto. Oh. You're good at this. The universe is a really big place where galaxies and solar systems all are connected into one big place called the Milky Way. Wow. Incredible explanation of that. What created the universe? There was something called the Big burst. It's where basically an explosion happened in space. Creating the galaxy. Or possibly magic. What do you think's out there. Carter? Two years. What if. God. If it's a whole universe. Where is God in space? Is God in space? Yeah. And eel's as we will. Air is everywhere. You know. So. That's right. So is that. Do you think God is everywhere? He. Yes. God is the person that was that. Some people say created the entire galaxy. And what do you think? I'm not exactly sure about what I believe in him or not. Yeah. What do you say? Well, interpersonal. Creative life. What makes you think that. Currency. Is powerful? Magical. Where do you think God is? Up there in heaven. What's heaven? Heaven is a place. When you die, you go up to heaven. Oh. Where did you learn that? No. You're don't. What do you think heaven's like? It's like what? The feathers for bridges. And rainbows. Everywhere. Whatever we. Think in. Our mind, it pops out in. Heaven. Oh, so. If I wanted myself to go inside Roblox and play inside Roblox, I could just do that. What do you think happens when we die? as I said, we go into. A cave with no bells. And we track. When we die. Do you think that's scary? No. What do you think it feels like? I think it feels like. I think it feels like, I'm still alive. Ooh. Feels like you're still alive. And I love that. I think we go into the cave and then what happens? They go into a tornado. Oh. And then what? Then we become another portion. Then we become another person. Wow. That's how we do it. Is any part of that process scary, do you think? No. What do you think? You think it's good to have a name? Paul is scary to me. Oh. The tornado. Why do you think that part scary. Oh. I'm not scared. Because I bring my bunny with me. what a great idea. I bet you can bring your body with you. And in. My bed. So my bed doesn't get lost. Every time you die. You get, Reborn into something new. If. If God doesn't. If God didn't like what you did in your past, in your last life. He turns you into something. Into something kind of bad. Like a bug. But if he likes you, And what you did in your last life might turn you into something like a bear. When we die, we sometimes 22 angels. What's an angel? I know, but I do know that I love both. You do come again. If you like a really good person, that you help people. Like you're going to become a different. Person, a different human. But if you're bad and you like her, everyone, if you're evil. And you're like, not very nice. Yeah, not very nice. You'll get turned into, like, dust and ash. Well, I believe even if you did do all those things, there's still a chance you could get on God's good side. You just need to forgive. You just need to forgive. Heaven doesn't stop. It's like. Infinity. Feet on. Wow. Have you been there before? One time before. I was even alive. Yeah. So where you came from? We come down, and then we go back up. barely even to the point where we go back up. What is. You're, like. Halfway. What is a soul? Have you ever heard the word soul? Yes. I think it's part of. Then we go. Part of one of our bones. Yeah, I know skeletons are. Well, because. Because they. Because we have that bad side. Our bodies. Your spirit is. This is the ghost of a body that just died. Oh, so do we all have one? If you love parties, you have a party spirit. What kind of spirit do you have? A fun, a fun spirit and a funny spirit. Hey, great. What about you? I. I have these, optical illusion spirit. What does that mean? My brain is a diced skin. Do you think that we're all here for a purpose? A few times in my life, I've said I was born for two purposes. To do crazy things and to have fun. What are we here for? Learning to be. Physical and like. Learning to be kind and willing. To be good. Learning to be yourself. Oh. Wow. What do you think we're here to do? I know, play and have fun. Yeah. I think it's just how to have a good life and have some fun. Yeah, and it had the best day ever. Even if you woke up. I know this, agile. Well, I pop it that way, but you. Can still get in. Battle. What? What that happened to be. It did? Yeah. whatever I do. To what? I did, I just do. I was lucky I just had one leg of it all my life. and of like that while I dropped. It on the floor. Wish all the pieces of it. And, I was really sad. And then what happened? And I still did not know very well. And I wanted that. And I liked and I liked it, and I didn't, like. Drop it. Did you know that story was, That's such a good story. How we tried to meet. What time do you guys think that you've done life before this? Do you think you've had past lives? Yeah. I'm not very sure about that. Actually, who I would name, since I have an optical illusion. I kind of remember one of my past life. What was it? I actually do remember I was, like, three years old. In. This is a really funny thing that happened. What happened? I started to talk. To the grass. And and then I. And then, like, the grass, actually. Talked back to me. Serious. I love. That it also the. Trees did do. Well. I mean, the grass and the trees are both alive. Trees do talk to each other. They get they they share water, see the roots like your tree. Oh. You know the. Tree. Because your tree has a face. Oh, yeah. It actually. Actually does. do you think there's other beings other than humans in the universe? Everyone knows who's animals. Yeah. And butterflies and dinosaurs, but also extinct now. So in not alive. Do you believe in anything that you cannot see? Yes. What do you. Yes. What do you believe in? That you can't. See people and things. Who are. Invisible. Magic can make your mind blow. Do you believe in the tooth fairy? Yeah. He's gonna come pretty soon. Where do you think the fairies live? I think they live in heaven. where the fairy. Castle is in. They have. It is like in all. The fairies. In the whole world. Even the two fairies. Come there. Oh, that is so cool. I love that. What other magical creatures? Like, you probably have some names for you. Like Baggins. The fairies. There are. Magical dust, particles. What do you think about the word love? Like what is love? Me. Me. Love means two people that really care for each other. If someone dies, you wake up like, has this. Feeling that you want to hang out with them. I believe that's called sorrow. Oh, my great grandmother died when I was two. Who has died in your life? Grandma. Rena. Merida. Anybody else? Sasha. Sasha. Yeah. Do you think that they are around us still, even though their bodies are here? Yes. My grandmother gives me signs through hummingbirds. And what about my friend Patrick? Patrick? Oh, he also died. He died too. What are you trying to do? Remember he told me you wanted to be a dragon fly? I tell you what, I want him be. Who I want to be in English and anglerfish. Yeah. What kind of fish does that look like? It looks like, a fish that has, like, a late on its head to distract, food. this dark fish. And it goes like this. Oh, what? What makes you want to come back with one of those guys? Yeah. Creepy. Cool. Oh, they are kind of creepy and cool. And they also. Have a light. On them. There's one in Nemo, right? Yeah. And it tries to eat them. What is love? I know, I know, but in your heart. Part of your heart. What do you think? I think it's just. Where do I. Keep. We hope people. Do you guys love each other? Yeah. I love you guys. Say, my kids double. Is that true? Yeah. And one tag I at one time, I high-fives west. When you love someone, maybe you love your family. You love your friends. Well, how does it feel in your body? To be loved? Feels like your soul grows. Grows a thousand wings and takes off into your head. I love people and I love em. You know what. Does anyone know? But inside. Your bones. I don't know, what do you think? I do not want any more, bro. Oh, yeah. That's true, I did it. It's. Talk to me about power. Power? Oh, jinx! Power is like an invisible force that's. Like, really powerful. Magical power isn't always magic. Power is also used. Like you have a lot of power if you're rich. Do you guys believe in power? Yeah, there's real power and posing people in your. Yeah, there's power in. Yourself because you're able to. Say, do you think that you have power? I'm not exactly sure yet. I'm going to tell you guys a secret. It's really important. And if you walk away from this conversation, here's what I want you to take with you. You are powerful. You are powerful. I now now I know what I'm powerful of. I have the power of laughter. I want the power of laughter and friendship. What else? Me too. Yeah. Me personally. When do we share the friendship? Do you doubt? You guys also have the power to love yourself. Yeah. Do you guys have that? Loving yourself is really, really, really important. Yeah. What do you love most about yourself? I love that I am a funny and creative boy. Yes. What about you? Oh. I love how. How I'm really good at Legos and. And how I can make anyone laugh. And you know what else? You can make anyone laugh. You know what else? You are so smart and kind and lovable. And we just love you so much. You are just adored in this household, I win. I hope you know that. And you're so smart and you're so cool. Do you feel powerful? A little bit, yeah. I feel powerful. I feel. Powerful. I love that will is really funny. And how? He has great ideas of what games to play. Oh, that's so nice. What do you love about him? I love that Owen is a creative and fun. Boy, and I love, he knows. All this stuff. And, like, I'm surprised about his Lego sets too. He's so smart, Yeah. He's a great friend. You guys are great friends. I think maybe you've done this, like, before. Have you done, like before? Together as buddies. What do you think? Thanks. Yeah. What kind of power is inside you? It's love. Hug power and swag. Power. you talked about love. Power? Yeah. What can love power do for the world? I know it can spread love. And how does that make people feel? it make people feel really happy. As happy as. They can be. Wow. Do you think that's part of the magic? Yeah. Is it the magic? Is is is loving people? Yes. And loving each other? Yes. And loving ourselves? Yes. Oh. You guys are magic. Yeah. Is it in the meditation? Have you ever meditated before? I meditate like this. What's good about meditating? I like. Meditating. Like meditating is good for your body. Because it. Because it helps calm you down when you might be feeling a little too excited or anxious. It is. It helps you calm down when you, like, stressed out. Do you think that you have the power to choose whether you. Are stressed out? Yes. Sometimes when you're doing something that you don't like, it's hard to not be stressed. Fun fact. Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth is good for your body. Because if you breathe in it like. It like feels. Good. Let's do it all together. Ready? One, two. Three. It does feel good. Fact number two. It's also good if you breathe in through your nose. Hold it for five seconds, then breathe out through your mouth and don't breathe again for five seconds. You are so good. I learned that, you know, working out in a workout video. What's your. Crystals do? I know they are beautiful in in the old one part of the planet. And what does it do?
